JBP lost his first game of the season. Some of it was the other team was just better. Some was the ref didn't call the other team when it blatantly bent and broke the rules. Some of it was that all nine members of JBP's team showed up for this game, which meant he and the Coach's daughter (the only two good players) had to spend some time on the bench. League rules: All kids have to get some playing time.
Final score: 14 to 20
On a side note: Since when are there skirts in basketball? Two of JBP's teammates showed up wearing mini-skirts! First of all, I take issue with putting 4 and 5 year old little girls in mini-skirts. Second, such clothing has no place in and is completely impractical in sports.
To paraphrase A League of Their Own: There are no skirts in basketball!
