As I was leaving for work yesterday -- Yes, that would be on Sunday. -- my 6 year old son looked at me and said, "You're a slave to that job!"
I just about fell down laughing! Apparently, he picked up the line from his current favorite movie, "Our Friend Martin", about Martin Luther King, Jr.
Of course, since I laughed the first time, he had to repeat the line several times yesterday and again today.

Yeah, we picked it up about a year ago figuring we'd show it to him when he got to be 8 or 9 yrs old.
ReplyDeleteHe found it himself in a pile of videos and starting watching it at age 5! And adores it.
He calls it his "Time Travel Movie".
